Band of Runners - Liza Howard

Liza Howard, from Band of Runners, joined me to discuss her organization and how it is helping veteran and gold star families.  Band of Runners brings veterans and gold star families to trail camp and teaches them all about trail running.  They introduce them to the trail running community, all the therapeutic properties that running through nature can provide, and the fundamentals of the sport so they can safely explore this wonderful sport in their community.

Take Action and Make an Impact - Scott Kummer

Lawyer, podcaster, race director, and all-round incredible guy Scott Kummer joins me to tell his story.  Scott was faced with some unbelievable obstacles and struggles, but instead of letting those struggles define his life, he chose to take action.  He overcame addiction, went back to school to become the professional he wanted to be, and build the life he wanted.  In fact, in all aspects of his life, whether it be his career, his running, his podcasting, or his race directing, one thing Scott has always done is take action.  For anyone who feels stuck in life, is struggling with abuse, or addiction.  Scott's story shows that you have the strength and ability to better your life if you choose, too.

Freedom to Surrender. An interview with Pastor Jerry Bader

In this episode I talked to Pastor Jerry Bader of Samaritan's Heart Mission Church about his incredible story.  Jerry was a majorly influential conservative talk show host for many years in the state of Wisconsin.  After becoming a believer in 2016 and having his career collapse around him in 2018 and 2019.  Jerry heard God calling him to ministry.  He is now making an incredible impact in his community by serving the needs of the homeless, addicts, and any other lost souls within his reach.  With incredible zeal, and with God's strength, he and his church are touching lives for Christ!
